Adam Marcus recently contributed a chapter to the book The Design-Build Studio: Crafting Meaningful Work in Architecture Education, edited by Tolya Stonorov and published by Routledge / Taylor & Francis. The chapter is titled "Manifesto for Digital Fabrication: Control, Craft, and Agency" and outlines a ten-point argument for how digital fabrication can augment traditional processes of design, fabrication, and construction. The book also features contributions by José Galarza and Daniel Wheeler, as well as case studies of projects by a number of leading academics and practitioners.
