After a successful run in San Francisco earlier this year, Drawing Codes: Experimental Protocols of Architectural Representation will travel to Los Angeles, opening at the WUHO Gallery on July 8. Organized by the CCA Digital Craft Lab and co-curated by Adam Marcus and Andrew Kudless, the show features 24 commissioned works exploring the impact of new technologies on the relationship between code and drawing. The exhibition includes a work from 100 Walls, a series of experimental drawings by Variable Projects. Other architects participating in the show include Viola Ago, Kelly Bair, Kristy Balliet, Curime Batliner, Erin Besler, Amy Campos, Mark Ericson, Thom Faulders, Heather Flood, Nataly Gattegno & Jason Kelly Johnson, Andrew Heumann, Janette Kim, Joris Komen, Andrew Kovacs, Andrew Kudless, Jimenez Lai, Elena Manferdini, Neeraj Bhatia, Dwayne Oyler & Jenny Wu,Ron Rael & Virginia San Fratello, Clark Thenhaus, and Michael Young & Kutan Ayata.
The opening reception is Saturday, July 8 5-8pm, and the show runs until August 20.
