Adam Marcus was recently appointed Associate Professor of Architecture at Tulane University’s School of Architecture in New Orleans, Louisiana. Marcus joins Tulane this fall after ten years of teaching at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. At Tulane, he will continue to teach design studios and courses in design computation and digital fabrication, with a focus on bridging these technologies with ecological performance. He will lead a new partnership with the Newcomb Art Department, introducing 3d-printed ceramic fabrication into the curriculum, continuing ongoing research into ecologically performative modular ceramic systems.
As Variable Projects relocates to New Orleans, we look forward to the opportunities for research and design in the new context of the Gulf Coast as well as continued partnerships with clients and collaborators throughout the country.
